Just a few interesting tidbits of conversations I've heard in recent days:
1) At McDonalds: "let me tell you about that taco bell. when you order a chalupa, they don't give you enough meat. they're always skimping on the meat. now, when you go to that new one, you know, over on X road, they know how to put meat in a chalupa."
2) In the checkout lane at the grocery store: "I tanned before i was dating him and I'll keep on tanning. yeah, before we were 'together' he didn't know i tanned. when he found out, he freaked. but i'm tellin' you, i'm still tanning."

The Mission
One of my favorite movies of all time is "the Mission"
The music is great, the cinematography is outstanding. just incredible all around.
when i first watched it...over and over, i might add, i knew i was just like the Jeremy Irons character. Pure, innocent, on the right path and never wavering.
Now, I'm quite sure I've strayed from that path. that I may be much more like DeNiro than Irons. That I have to work at purity and that the darkness creeps in quite a bit.
i miss the Jeremy Irons I once was... but i have realized that you can't go back. You can't recapture innocence. It's the lesson you can only learn by experience... and by experience, you lose the innocence. Sure, i like being wiser and knowing more about the way things work... but i also crave that earlier, more pure way of viewing the world...
by the way, i think this blog is heading to be far less naughty and far more nate...

The Neon Bible
Has anyone else out there read this book?
i started thinking about it last night and couldn't sleep.
i don't think i can read it again. not now.
just thinking of the ending makes me sad. thinking of the whole story actually causes a deep emotional response.
i first read that book when i was 19 or 20.
i think i'll go up in the attic and get it out tonight... read it and see if it makes me cry.

ok
so i'm posting
and yes, i want to write something up about cinemacowgirl (the hot pic referenced in an earlier post) ... about how she was taken ... about how lying silently, she was gently awakened by strong hands...
about how she was surprised that he had come home, about how she gave in to him
about how the only thing that penetrated her was his thick, long fingers
how she responded angrily at first, then became subdued as pleasure overwhelmed her
search for the post where there is a comment and a link to a picture -- you'll understand
after more than an hour of his focused, powerful touch, she was spent
and at just past 9 AM, she is awakened again ... this time as the beams of the morning sun pierce through her window
she aches and smiles

The KEY to a great orgasm (or 3)
RELAX!
that's it.
yeah, i have an orgasm most everyday. sometimes at work when i'm a touch stressed, sometimes at home to ease the path to sleep.
but the last couple of days, i've had some amazing orgasms.
i have been out of town ... yes, on business. but had some time alone -- really, really alone in a hotel.
we ate great food, i enjoyed good company during the day, and i felt incredibly relaxed
no looming deadlines back at the office, no urgent calls, no early morning wake-up calls.
and so i took full advantage, took matters into my own hands
and thoroughly, completed enjoyed a full scale exploration of my body. guys, if you are just going for the stroke and not touching all of your body, you're totally missing out.
sure, when i've got a few minutes in the middle of the day and then it's back to work, i go for the goods and get it done
but when you have the time, take the time
relax
feel your own hands touch your own body in places you might never have known could feel so good
not only did i sleep better, i woke up refreshed -- and harder than i have been in a while.
here's the deal: stress impacts your erection. it can make it less hard, it can make it harder to achieve a "repeat" performance
finding that time of relaxation can rejuvenate the very hormones and body chemistry that are key to maximum enjoyment of sex
so... relax
and you'll have some amazing, incredible, wondrous orgasms...

My new, highly scientific diet...
Yup!
in addition to the new workout moves, i have a new(er) diet. hmm.
here goes so all of you all can get in the same great shape that i'm in... or, not in... hmm
Breakfast:
1 FiberONE bar (i like Oats and Chocolate)
1 Tall Caramel Macchiato at Starbucks.
About 450 calories, lots of fiber, and 12 grams of protein (plus, some calcium).
snack: two peeps (i like peeps chicks... but rabbits will do) 64 calories, virtually zero nutritional value
Lunch: 1 tuna sandwich and a handful of jalapeno cheddar pretzels from Snyders.
snack: 1 small bag of m&ms
Dinner: Spinach Salad w/Olive Oil and garlic salt and either 1) a NY strip or 2) a couple of broiled salmon fillets
Night Time Snack on select evenings: 1 jack and coke OR, if i feel really good about the week i've had, a half of a pint of Ben & Jerry's Oatmeal Cookie Chunk ice cream (usually on Friday, then i'll eat the other half on Sunday)
no desserts at night during the week.
that's it. how to stay in the shape of Nate!

new workout
So, every 2-3 weeks I switch up my weight-lifting routine. I usually do some light lifting 3-4 days a week. Mainly to maintain my weight and keep a good tone to my body.
last night, I added a new set of lifts and today i feel great.
that ache is in my shoulders, my chest, even in my thighs
and i love that twinge of pain reminding me that my muscles are developing in new ways
i have to do it again tonight because it was so challenging and then i'll probably take tomorrow off
